I think the 126 pounder Colton Simmons from Sherando could pull an upset. He's progressivly gotten better throughout the season and actually beat Hawk from Loudoun Valley at the Max Horz tournament. And I think the Jessen and Zukhluku match will be a good one. But i think Zukhluku will win it.

I also think the 170 from Powhatan is a strong candidate to make it through.
Does anybody know for certain when wrestling is supposed to start on Friday? 1pm or 2pm?

I would like to go out on a limb and suggest that Crawford at 160 has a decent chance of being an upset and making states? Take that for a bold out of the box prediction. And while I am at it, let me say that big Jessen will also qualify for states too.

And I see even the Jefferson District wakes up for regionals, good to see!

They have moved back to Djibouti to man a listening post and help train the French Foreign Legion on how to properly execute a leg turk!! They will be finishing their classes via the Millbrook wrestling non resident program that all the move ins are required to complete after they have been recruited. NW wrestler needs to get with the program and get these predictions updated!!!

Haha to Just a fan, and Heavy W! And to the Powy fan of the 182, I am sure Connor is good , but he is not going to surprise Garvis or the Brentsville guy. Both are top notch. Only saw Garvis get whipped twice this year, and that was by three time state champ Bennett from Berkeley Springs, in region 2 he will only be challenged in the championship. Just IMO.

Nice projections! I just got Muhlanney in front of Ritter, and Hamilton in front of Conner, Guthridge can be Swartz this time if he graduates early from being a Sophomore. Askew in the 285 might not make the semis, I dont think his heart is in it. Simmons is a tough young wrestler , if he places it will be a strong accomplishment. I guess in another day we will all find out what happens.
