Sorry guys, Im way tired so no summaries for now, if ever. If you have any questions, ask and I will answer. As always, don't take this personally. JEFF DIST- a little lack of love, due to your lack of results probably. I know some is diferent than state/regin ranks. They are my opinion though, and some may be due to bracketing. Love feedback, enjoy. Good luck to all at R2!

I lol to your prediction that Skyline will be 4th and WC will be 10th. They met in a dual and WC won. You may want to rethink it.

WCWCWC - I guess he looked at where he thought people would finish up at regionals and there aren't too many WC wrestlers moving on??? Three, maybe four state qualifiers??? I do wonder why he jumped Laboy back over Bass? Any reason other than gut? By the way, great job on the predictions, thanks for putting these together.

Duals and tournaments are completely opposite. LC won their district and I have them behind PF. I have Bass below Laboy because I think Dean beats both of them and Bass hits Dean first. JW had like 5 dual wins all year and I have them coming 7th. Regions and states is about the gun show, not the fact you have a bunch of 40-70% win kids that compose a decent dual team

What time does Regionals start on Friday? I've heard 1pm and 2pm. Thanks for your help.

Good answers and I agree NW. Again, thanks for the work. Now, let the games begin. Does anyone want to venture a guess at the biggest upset of the regional tournament???

My first guess at an upset if you could call it one is I wouldn't take any bets against Wisman at 138. Kid is strong.

ehhh I'd say PK Jessen over Zulkhuu. I'll be the first to tell you I wasn't so impressed in the beginning of the year... he has picked it up. Im not betting on that but thats a chance of an upset

Also with Wisdman, he's progessively getting better. He tore Jenkins apart the 2nd time around where the first time(the same day he lost to Budd), he needed overtime. Do not expect the same lopsided match you saw at the Millbrook tournament when Budd and Wisman meet up

OK, I was with you until you said Jessen over Zulkhuu . Jessen is a beast, but Zulkhuu is a freak. And, I wouldnt put it past Woznak at 106 to jump the shark on a couple if they look past him.

Yeah but I kept thinking about it, and I wouldn't bet on it... but I mean he has crushed Mullaney. Like I said, until a couple weeks ago, not a chance. Maybe now he can hang. We will see

I know match ups count and where they meet in the tournament , but Mead has beaten Keeler twice pretty easily this year, including in the DC final. Laboy will make sure he TCB against Bass this time if they meet. He just got back from separated shoulder. Little Jessen will not beat Kuhlkuu this time, but is a beast in the making in the next few years. Hamilton wrestled last weekend with a 103 temp, he might surprise a few in the regionals, he is green though. IMO , I don't see Skyline outscoring Sherando as a team. Very nice projections as a whole though, thanks for compiling. ;D

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kamauff (160) from Cville make it. He's got it in him. Tough draw, though. I would also like someone to confirm the timing on Friday. The info sent out by our school said 2pm but the KR website says 1pm. Not sure which is the definitive source, if either.

I am with you. It will be a good match. Just thinking the experience and funk of Zulkhuu will win in the end. Any thoughts on 126? Payne wraps #1, but not sure on the next three slots. I would have never thought Huston would have beaten Ramirez, but he did?

Hey fearthespear, I would not have taken Mead below Keeler, but I picked that way because I have Causey from PF beating them both. But the cookie didn't crumble Mead's way on the draw because he's going to have Prados early. Also I'd pick Laboy in a rematch too. Justafan- I know what you mean about Rameriz. I can't really explain it but there have been time this year where he gets into finals's matches this year where he loses to kids he's much better than. Other times he;'s been in matches with kids that are "supposed" to be much better than nad he creams them. I've seen this kid wrestle over 100 times. I think he will be okay Team score between Sherando and Skyline I think I had them about 5-7 points apart. I am feeling more motivated today so maybe I'll post more details when i get home from work

My upsets: (meaning will place higher then you have listed)
106 - Woznack 113 - Walker 120 - Souza 126 - Huston or Zedan 132 - Bowers, what a tough weight 138 - Santmyers 145 - Day 152 - none (but Zuhlkuu will score bonus in finals) 160 - Ewing 170 - Mead 182 - 4-6 could be anyone in the bracket 195 - Altangerel 220 - Wotring 285 - Wood
Teams: Its a 3 team race. A bunch of teams could be 4th, but your list ain't bad. I think the order will come down to which teams are the healthiest. It seems that some teams have lots of injuries and/or wrestlers that looked sucked down from cutting.

You are right NWwrestler, I thought Mead wrestled the PF (Causey) at the Park View invitational and then remembered Mead was wrestling 182 early in the season. - I also agree with the Ramirez conversation, you never know what you are going to get. I didnt think he should have lost the DC final, he just didn't bring it.

Good calls Guestimator. 132 is as tough as it gets. 120 could have some upsets too. Hulcher is looking awfully tough, but from there down, those guys are pretty close for the top 6.

I agree with you at most Gustimator it's just the way the brackets came out on most that you had mentioned. I think Bowers is the 2nd bets kid, I think Santmyers sees loser of Wisman and Budd so that hurts, Day and Alterangerl and Mead all bracket victims. 120 Souza hits Potts first who I have taking 6th. I have Souza winning but then Maddox if he loses he will hit Villalobos in consi semis and even if he squeaks that he will just see Fake again. I believe he must beat Maddox to go. Walker has Miller first who teched him 2 weeks ago and then the kid who beat Miller at districts and 2nd rd consi so no IMO. Wood- I hope you're right, hes a good kid. Woznack maybe, but Velez pounded him much worse than FQ or WC. I was thinking Ewing, but the way I see the bracket going he hit Cassada(who he will not beat), and Langford, who also beat him at Freedom Tourney.

Maddox beat Souza at their dual, but it was close. I think he was wrestling pretty close to teh vest. He lost to Villalobos early in the year and I think that match was pretty close also. He has been looking pretty tough lately and may surprise Zimmerman if he keeps going the way he is wrestling.

Any thoughts on Swartz? He keeps on winning. Not always pretty, but he wins. Especially since dropping to 112.

Powhatan's 160 is out w. dislocated elbow. I think he could have at least snagged 4th. I've seen him upset a few really good wrestlers.

Last point and then off to work. Via has beaten some pretty good kids this year. Anyone seen him wrestle?? Could tweak the 145 group. Doesn't look too tough until he hits Laboy in Semis.

Via I feel is right where he should be, and Maddox did come on strong but I think Fake and Hulcher are far and away from everyone else. Yet another finals match in the semis
