Regional Champs: NW 43% EV 43% D 14% J 0%
Regional Finalists: NW 43% EV 25% D 21% J 11%
State Qualifiers: NW 34% EV 32% D 25% J 9%
NOTE: this is before the Powhatan kid at 170 is out and Millbrook kid is in
Give the Northwestern District a fair shot, they clearly are the cream of the crop.

Hmm, how do you feel these would spread out if Fauquier and Millbrook weren't so good?

I don't know, both teams are very good. I can tell you that those two teams accounted for 43% of the regional champs, 29% of the finalists, and 29% of the state qualifiers.

Interesting that Dulles district had more than 25% of the slots in all weights but come up with only 25% of state qualifiers. Not a great showing this year. Hope they come back strong next year.

After doing the stats, the Dulles district did alot better than I thought just by watching the tournament. They obviously miss Freedom, and the Jefferson district misses Orange. I'll give the Jefferson district an earthquake pass this year though. Good thing the Northwest split. I can't think of anybody (previous state placers/qualifiers) that won't be making the trip to salem, so maybe parity is close? At least inside our region.
